LUCESCO
The very first dragon from the outside to join Nyx's fledgling clan. Lucesco showed up at the den an injured and nameless hatchling, and was quickly taken under Nyx's wing. Given that he didn't exactly fit under there, even to begin with, he quickly became the clan's guardian-- a formidable foe that any invader might hesitate to deal with, and mentor to those the clan ushers to their patron's side. He only tends to refrain from the occasional ventures out into the Emperor's Wake-- for reasons that should go without saying.
A quiet, tactiturn, and direct sort-- though his blunt nature belies a suprising gentleness and tenderness, particularly with the clan's hatchlings. He keeps his thoughts to himself, however, and only shares how he truly thinks and feels with a select few-- his close friend Soiree is one, his mate Chaya is another, and Nyx herself the last. As for Nyx, while he greatly respects her for being willing to look after him when he needed it most, their relationship has shifted over time to one between equals. She trusts and relies on him, and he her in turn. He still feels he owes her a life debt, however, and so acts as her personal bodyguard.
The one thing he never discusses, even with those he considers closest to him, is what took him from the Viridian Labyrinth to begin with. Sometimes, though, he can be found at the highest point in the clan's territory, gazing out at the faint silhouette of the Behemoth on the horizon...
