B I O G R A P H Y

Main Theme: Cursed Beast Hunter

______ The ribbons rearranged and moved around Marlot as he walked through the darkened forest. The request was to find the beast that lived in these woods and dispose of it. Sounded easy enough to him except for the fact that nobody had ever seen this beast. It worked in the darkness, and it was as silent as a mouse. He knew this was going to be a tough battle if he encountered the monster. The runes on the ribbons glowed brighter as he stepped farther into the forest. Ah, he was getting closer to the foul beast. Marlot grinned as black flames shot around him. Yes, this would be an interesting battle indeed.

______ Blood dripped on the ground as Marlot walked with a slight limp. The battle had not gone as planned. He had beat the creature, destroyed the foul being, but he was injured. The clan that had given him the request shunned him. They threw him out as soon as he returned. It wasn't too surprised by their abandonment. He hardly got his payment for defeating those dark beings that plagued them. He was a dark being himself able to stand up to these cursed creatures.

"It is to be expected," he muttered. "I am a creature possessed by a devil. But, I still keep my reasoning intact."

He winced as he continued to walk while the blood began to slow to a trickle. Ah, that did come in handy whenever he wasn't able to get immediate attention. The devil that lived within him didn't want him to die. Therefore, it would heal him eventually. But, it also liked to make him suffer, so it took its time with him. Marlot was to never die unless the devil that possessed him wanted it done himself. The Imperial sighed as he came to a small creek. It would seem that healing his would took a lot of energy. He was hungry.

It didn't take long before he managed to nab a few fish. A lot more fish than he had counted though. It would seem he wasn't paying attention to the amount he was catching. The Imperial placed the fish in his bag, after they had dried, before he set off to find a shelter to eat his fish.

Marlot stopped when he noticed a female Imperial collapsed on the ground about to give up her own life. He started to leave before going over to her. He noticed her ribs from the lack of food she had eaten. He shoved the fish at her. The hunter could always get more later. Purple eyes watched the energy snakes as they coiled and moved around the dragon. She was a cursed beast, yet she looked so sad.
