Writing Examples

You stand before a multitude of doors. You've been waiting for this for years now. Having had dreams; borderline nightmares sometimes, about this. You know, as you take a deep breath, this is it. this is your moment. Will you recieve the fabled dragon, or will you only recieve consolation prizes. It's up to you now. your friends can't help you anymore, you're on your own.

Which door do you pick?

Do you pick the door with vines and greens climbing on it. Soft murmurs seemingly coming from the wood itself?

or

Do you pick the door which seems to emit a slight light from between the old wooden boards. Soft melody seems to be playing in the background everytime you study the old wooden door.

or

Do you pick the door which has claw marks all around and on it. You get an omnious feeling just looking at it.

You take a deep breath, this is it. You open your chosen door.

What you see once you open the door...is not a dragon. With a dissapointed sigh, you pick up the items you find in the room, if it can even be called that. The room in itself is very small and dimly lit, and you're pretty sure there's mold in one of the corners. you try to not look too closely.

What you see once you enter the room is blidning light! It takes you a moment to get your bearings back, but once you do you can't help to laugh! In the middle of the rooms sits a small hatchling, seemingly emitting light from it's very scales! It seems you picked the right door.

you take a deep breath, surely this intimidating door would hold a dragon? yes, you're sure of it. As you open the door slowly, you feels goosebumps running up your arms. Oh! it looked like a pair of eyes! There ! you saw it again!
Again, with a deep breath, you steady yourself and open the door...to see a small familiar stuck in what seems to be wings silks? it seems to be very annoyed with the whole situation.
