B I O G R A P H Y
Mara is an infamous penny pincher and Grade-A swindler, a title she wears with pride. All it means is that she's doing just as the Shadowbinder wishes her to. There's nothing her silver tongue can't make sound promising, and even Skydancers and Gaolers have trouble not falling for her honeyed lies as she hawks her defective wares and gets more of their sweet, sweet treasure. No takesy-backsies is her policy. "What you got is what you get" she snickers as she sprawls out on her pile of treasure. Dragons have tried to sue her before, but she either gathers a terrifying lawyer, feigns mimicking someone and forgetting her misdeeds in order to get off the hook, or sometimes bails town altogether and takes on a different name. No one knows how many times she's done the last one, not even Mara herself. (Thank you to @AsterTheOrca for this amazing character description!)
