shunned for his eyes, he's always been wanting a new life without being judged by his piercing green eyes. he regularly blinds himself with the daredevil cover, but harlequin constantly encourages him to stop and see the world through his green eyes. Or what she thinks is green eyes.
His bat friend stays in a cage most of the time, but when around Avery they cuddle and almost purr. They try to snuggle, but are very wary and scared of everyone else. Nobody knows why the bat got so attached to Avery.
Avery loves to explore and hang out in cold places. He is rarely home and when he is, he whines about how extremely hot it is. The magicians in the clan have specifically made him an enchanted snow cloud for where he sleeps, since he cannot bare to handle hot places.
When he is out of the lair, he likes to take long trips to barren icelands and sad places. He thinks it's nice, but it's a bit strange for a dragon adopted in the flames.
