Honor and pride carries itself differently for each different dragon, for some its the way weapon at their side, the friends at their side, or the past they had that brought them up and made them who they are today.

An ancient sword lays at her side, always ready for whenever she needs it. It has been her most loyal companion since she started her journey all those years ago, this was the last present she ever received from her master. She cherishes it more then anymore... It holds the past of many who came before her, and she is certainly not going to be the last to the wield this blade, there will be many after her time is up...

She spent most of her time alone in a solitude in Earth growing up, where an ancient tribe of sword-masters took promising young hatchlings who had been lost or were orphaned by unfortunate events. Yamanaka had been one of the many children. Young and brilliant. Excellently skilled, and mature from a young age. Her skills came quick, some called believed it from her Plague background. Others believe she just had natural talent.

She was the top student for most of her lessons. Every wound earned with a pride that she had improved more then she had before then she had entered.

Her master was very proud of her. The taller Imperial hardly spoke for these years she was taught, but they watched her development carefully. As she aged, she grew more into her mastery.

But as age came, it then it came time for her to leave this village for something more, as many of the other children they had as they finished the lessons given to them. As she was preparing to leave, her master approached her, silent and mysterious as they always had been.

Her master slowly pulled out their sword, wrapped in brown leather. Their purple eyes nodded to her, and they quietly spoke.
"Yamanaka... you've passed many of my exceptions and then some. I am proud to give you my sword, and I pray it does well for you," there had been so much approval and pride from their voice.

She smiled at them, taking the sword into one hand, "it was a pleasure to learn from you, for all these years. You've taught me so much."

Unwrapping it, she looked at the blade in felt it held impressive powers. She would use this wisely, just like they did.

Yama smiled quietly as she touched the blade at her side. She missed her master, but she knew. She would likely never meet them ever again in her life. That's just how things went, sadly.

Though she had a job to here, in a clan that hired her.

To protect the weak, protect the just.

Keep her words true, and her honor in key.

She is alone, but she is with many.
