Bio by ShadyoFayx:

“Are you okay?” A voice spoke out to her as she wandered through the dark, stone hallways. The building was built in the side of a mountain, a strange and astonishing fact, but that didn’t explain how the Snapper Female, Elyria, wound up here.

She blinked and looked over at the voice. A concerned Wildclaw stared at her, tilting his head back and forth. “W-what?” She asked.

“Are you okay?” He reiterated. “You’ve been wandering here for hours. What are you doing?”

Elyra looked around at the walls. Lining the dark stone were large torches, and drawings of many Dragons all standing in rows, looking at whomever was drawing the picture. Many trophies and items filled the space between the pictures, every wall filled like this. “Where am I?” She looked at the Dragon.

He tsked his tongue and pointed the tip of his tail to a banner that hung at the top of the entrance over the opening of the cave. It read, “Plague Academy of Excelling Dragons and their Gifts.” Elyra narrowed her eyes, confusion encompassing her. “Gifts?” She looked over at him.

“Are you sure you’re okay?” Was all he asked. When she nodded slowly, he turned and trotted out of the cave, leaving her more confused than before. She looked at all of the pictures. She realized then that each picture was a graduating class picture of the academy. She shook her head, trying to remember what happened to her. How did she get her? Did she go here? If she did, what was her gift?

Elyra racked her brain as she walked further into the mountain side, the hallways getting darker as the torches began to snuff out. It must have been the end of the day. As the lights went out, she found herself alone still, finding herself a place to sleep, she quickly curled up and hoped to find some answers.

Elyra did find answers that next day. She was soon surrounded by students and concerned professors, helping her out, and making her . It didn’t take long for Elyra to find and make friends, and soon she was enrolled into the school. Her gift was still a mystery to her, but she could feel the power that flowed deep within her veins, itching to come out. As Elyra lived and trained with the Academy, she grew to be a very powerful Dragon. But something still bothered her.

“What’s on your mind?” A friend of hers asked, as she looked out of the entrance, at the forests and barren landscapes.

She looked over and shook her head, taking a deep breath, “I love it here. But….I don’t know who I am. I don’t know where I came from.” She had noticed that she looked different than the other Snappers as well, her eyes. One was purple-- a color she has learned to love, and the other brown. She wasn’t sure why this was, but she had a feeling that it was connected to her past that seemed to elude her memory.

“You’re Elyra. A wonderful Dragon, and an even more amazing friend.” That was something that her friends said a lot. Almost like they didn’t have anything better or worse to say. It annoyed her, but she loved them.

Things changed though, the Beast Clans had been growing stronger around the edge of the Plague Flight boarders, but with the Academy being near the middle, they were one of the prime targets for an attack. It happened, not too long after they were warned. The Beast Clans tore into the mountain, attacking and slashing all they could see. The Dragons lined in defense, unwilling to back down or flee. Each fought to the best of their ability, Elyra including. She felt her power surge beneath her skin once more, ready to come out. She felt herself suddenly fatigue, growing dizzy.

“Elyra! Move!” One of her friends said, as she was bowled into by a Beast. Elyra shook her head and slowly turned, clumsily running to the back of the hallway. She wasn’t sure where she could go, and before she knew it, she was cornered. A Beast snarled and snapped at her, backing her into the wall. She shook her head, trying to get her mind together. She couldn’t back down. She wouldn’t. Not with her friends fighting for their lives. She closed her eyes, shaking her head once more.

Suddenly, the power exploded. Her eyes flew open, the purple eye glowing a brilliant violet. The Beast stared at her, stopping its growling. She took a step forwards, her clawed foot erupting in a violet aura. She took another, the aura growing stronger. “You will not destroy everything I love!” She exclaimed. The Beast started to whine, backing up. She closed her eyes once more, and when she opened them, a burst of energy erupted outward, throwing the Beast back, and into the wall with deafening thud. It fell to the ground and laid still. She took not time, running back to the fray. Her mind locked onto the nearest Beast. Waving her thick tail, the violet aura wrapped itself around the Beast, immediately dropping it to the ground.

The attack continued until the Beasts retreated. The power around her ebbed until it faded. She collapsed to the ground, feeling tired and breathless. Her friends cheered and surrounded her, the professors nodding in approval. Elyra stood, and smiled. The power flowing through her stopped itching, and she felt more confident than ever before. Whoever she was, it didn’t matter anymore. She was Elyra. She was a Dragon for the Plague Academy of Excelling Dragons and their Gifts. She was home.
