Thanks to ananas for the commission!
Where Cruor is spastic in his primal furies, Lanathel is unnecessarily cruel.
She is the epitome of a Plague Wildclaw, possessing a brutality and cunning fully utilised in the Scarred Wasteland. While Cruor tends to react to various situations (real or imagined), Lanathel goes out of her way to taunt a fight.

As a female, Lanathel has the distinct size advantage over her male counterparts; this is added with her personal size being larger still than most of the females in the lair.
She is armed to the fang, and her physical prowess is matched only by a smaller, but much swifter Valiona. The two duel more than any other Wildclaw, given each dragon's idea of personal superiority. Lanathel would have readily taken the lead of the hierarchy if Valiona's white-hot furies, calculation, and speed had not repeatedly bested Lanathel's brute force.

This has led to a long-standing feud that keeps Valiona almost constantly on-guard, should Lanathel spot a moment of weakness.

Lanathel's favoured disease to sow is distrust, her tongue is as cruel as her claws.
She's an unusually good gossip, manipulating information from other dragons, often times without them realizing what they're doing.
When she spreads rumours, she loves to blend lies with truths hidden in them, and therefore often speaks in riddles or slanderous half-truths, she's particularly talented with the former.
Though most of the time the clan keeps her on the vanguard with Cruor, the clanmates do enjoy trying to pose a riddle to her she cannot solve (they have yet to do so).

Otherwise, most dragons keep a safe distance from her, given her usually malicious intent.
The others that keep company with her tend to be Haemorra, Alnazifa, Hellscream, Coagula, Valar and Dohaeris, and her mate Keleseth, who, as Plague flights, knows her logic and rebuffs any attempts to manipulate and reciprocate her taunts with equal cruelty. It's a bizarrely functional relationship.
