Snowdrop, like Heims, was a gift toThe Rugged Outskirts, from Clan of the Spiritstone. Given as a hatchling, she was instructed to join her mate to live and help build peace between the clans. Once Clan Spiritstone heard how charitable the other clan had been to the first envoy sent, it was a unanimous decision that another envoy was to be sent to join the first. While traveling there, Snowdrop had barely made it to the edge of a cliff, when she was caught in a rock slide, pinning her to the ground with no foreseeable hope of anyone ever finding her.

As she felt the life begin to leave her, she saw shadowy outlines from her blurred vision as the darkness engulfed her. Upon her awakening a week later, she was startled to see she was still alive, well, and the same...well...almost the same. The once large curling cherub loops that covered her body were now replaced with frosted rosettes and bruises. "We did everything we could to save you." A blood-colored fae said to her as she was examining herself. "I'm sorry, but those marks are eternal." She nodded in understanding. "Thank you for saving me, but I'm afraid I must go...the Rugged Outskirts is my final destination." A sly grin touched the fae's face as he began strolling out of the cave.
