Novus

"There are those of us who believe in survival above all else and then there are those of us who have survived."

Novus is one of the most revered members of the clan, her scars are a matter of pride. Missing skin a point of worship and tattered scales holy icons. No one truly knows what happened to Novus that put her in such a state and she refuses to tell that tale.

She does not seem upset about her injury though, whether that be through her own stoic nature or the reverence of her clan mates is uncertain. Most of the time she is independent, though due to her extensive injuries she does occasionally require assistance from other dragons.

Assisting Novus is considered a sacred act among the members of the clan and those chosen are diligent as if they were serving the Plaguebringer herself. Her wrappings often require changing, something she fins difficult as the years go on and her exposed bones will often need delicate cleaning.

To survive can sometimes hurt more than dying but to survive is to embody what it means to be a child of the plague. Novus survives and through her resolve we are all brought closer to our mother.
