My apprentice Lakshmi is already working hard to stabilize Shank, she can't help me.
Svana is screaming something fierce.

Waste. Artemis jerked her head up from the potion. Waste. The serthis next to her remained silent, still measuring out ingredients to be added later. Waste.

"What's a waste?"

The serthis looked up, confused. "What-" His eyes flashed a deep green. "You're wasting your talent. You've mourned too long. Waste."

"Oh Gladkeeper."

With quick hands she caught her familiar as he wavered and fell. Before he questioned her, she gave quick orders. "Finish this potion and send it with Deep Water and Vinesca before their next hunt. They're still training Concordia. I've got to go talk to Orion."

"Your clawsss!"

Artemis looked down and saw the faint green glow on her clawtips. "I really need to see Orion."
