Biography

You look at me
But you don't see
Understand I'm a sinner...
Don't corner me
Don't lecture me
Raise your hands
You're a sinner...

Sebastia serves as Lilith's bounty hunter. When the time comes to collect a soul owed to Lilith, Sebastia will track them down and bring them back to her master. She is unstoppable when she is on the hunt, and as a demon herself she never needs to sleep or eat while in pursuit of her quarry. But once the hunt is over, she drinks half her weight in blood and blacks out for three days before being recovered enough to go on the prowl again.

Sebastia was the first dragon who came to Lilith to plead for her life. Her entire family was slated for execution during an ancient and brutal war, but Sebastia refused to accept her fate. As she was led to the place where her murder would be carried out, she prayed to all the gods that she would be spared and her executioners punished, but all that answered her was silence. Furious that she had been abandoned, she instead began to offer prayers to anything and everything else that might hear her appeals. The death blow was delivered, and as she felt the life drain from her body, a tiny Fae appeared from out of the darkness. The Fae introduced herself as Lilith, and promised Sebastia that she could save her and grant her the vengeance she so desired, but only if she swore to serve her and give her everything. In rage and desperation, Sebastia accepted and returned to the realm of the living, having become Lilith's eternal servant.

Lilith is the only one who can truly control Sebastia; she answers to no one else. Though she does somewhat respect Deathstryke's leadership and willingly accompanies the war parties in battle to sate her own bloodlust, she is often belligerent at best and downright insubordinate at worst. Stubborn and strong, she prefers to keep to herself and her master, rarely interacting with anyone else in the clan. Lilith and Hemorrhage are often seen nestling in her fur and feathers when she comes home, and it is as close to friendship as any of them ever display.

Do not expect mercy from Sebastia when she is sent after you, or even fairness. She has no sense of honor when it comes to collecting a bounty, and will do whatever it takes in order to get it. Although she is by no means the strongest dragon out there, her endurance is unmatched; she can track and trail someone until they collapse from exhaustion, and she will barely be warmed up. In battle she can't deal much damage, but she can take a beating that would drop an Emperor. This allows her to fight until her opponents are vanquished, even if their strength outranks her own. Entirely unsympathetic, Sebastia extends no concern when her clanmates fall in battle; her belief is that if they are not strong enough to survive, they deserve the fate their weakness has brought upon them. It is not for mere cruelty that she thinks this, however; she knows that the clan harbors incredibly powerful mages and healers, and that their skill is more than enough to save the life of a wounded dragon. In her mind, it is a waste of time and energy to worry about felled warriors, and even insulting to the skills of the magic users, as it would imply that they might not be skilled enough to bring someone back from the brink of death.
