Biography
Daughter of two immigrant parents, Alucard feels as though she constantly had to prove her arcane pride to others. As a young child, she was very insistent that her flight was superior to all others, going so far as to attack dragons much larger and stronger over her beloved flight. Perhaps this is why she chose to train young to be sent off to the arcanist in exaltation. After all, it was because of him that the flights existed in the first place! At least, that was the vague information her mother fed.
It was her insurmountable arrogance that made the truth so hard to hear. While her arcanist was integral to the history of this world, it was as a fool. The Arcanist had ripped the shield, destroyed the pillar, instantly bested by The Shade, held his tongue and hid from the war between plague and nature… Her parents tried to comfort her, but she was inconsolable. Despite being a sociable Skydancer, she threw herself into isolation.
Still, her shattered worldview was not an excuse to stop working. Continually, she trained the young not wanted by other lairs and sent them off not to a grand warrior of wisdom and sorcery, but to a foolhardy bookworm. This flight, her flight… They deserved better than him, no? Sure, she could move to her Light-father’s old den, or even ship off to Plague (the flight she held a quiet respect for) but she was still a proud Arcanite. So she developed a plan, to use her station to her advantage.
Imbedding the young she trains with her darkened and twisted ways, she trains them not as servants to the Arcanist, but as spies. One day, she will head to the Arcanist herself and spearhead her revolution. Her hundreds upon hundreds of loyal soldiers will take wing and rip the throne away from that so-called god.
Of course, this is a mere pipe dream. After all, what dragon could stand to the magical prowess of the Arcanist? Of course, with the evolution of those supernatural primal dragons… Perhaps her arcane renaissance isn’t so far after all.
