Gaibhnigh

Gaibhnigh (pronounced guy-nihg) is the Irish word meaning "forge-make, shape (metal) ".
He is named for the metal colour of his genes.

Gai would later become inspired by him name to try his claw as a forgemaster. He will discover he has a real talent for shaping metal, it seems to do whatever he wills it to.
Watching him create is like watching an animal trainer whisper and coax lovingly to their aninals; it is really quite miraculous. He will become the master forgesmith to the Fyrewhisp Clan.

Being so drawn to metals, he found himself absolutely fascinated with Óir. The way her scales glimmer like a thousand coins when she moves, the gorgeous light created from her wings when the sun hits it just right. He found himself too shy to pursue her, however, and remained his usually quiet and pleasant self.
He was absolutely stunned one day when she walked up to him and invited him out for an evening flight. He quickly blustered a yes, causing her to laugh. And from that day on the rest is history.
They are currently very excited about starting a nest together. Gai has even created a mobile made of steel and silver with inlays of intricate gold for their future hatchlings.
