Delvig

Delvig is not exactly a dragon but rather some sort of spirit trapped in the form of one. Found by Sekhmet when she was just a hatchling, something happened and now he's her eternal servant. He doesn't seem to happy about this, often complaining about his lot in life and how he could do so much more freed from this dragon shell. From the way he talks about his old life, most of the crew thinks he might have been a not very nice spirit. The word demon gets tossed about a lot when talking about Delvig.

Despite this he does help the crew quite a bit. Delvig is Sekhmet's eyes and ears far from the ship and the borders of wind lands. He finds secrets and brings them back to the Captain. No one knows how he finds out the things he does and a rumor among the youngest members of the crew is that he changes shape to fit in almost anywhere. Delvig does not make it his business to be friendly or even polite to most people, so he encourages rumors that keep people away from him. However he'll heed Sekhmet's beck and call if she so desires and would walk across burning coals for her (probably complaining the whole way).

Despite being sarcastic, rude, and cranky Delvig has been seen letting Sekhmet's hatchlings hang all over him. The crew swears the captain does it to annoy him, but some day Delvig enjoys it. Delvig will only say that he's just too tired to eat them.
