Belim is Ribeye's mate. The two of them and their friend Mercury founded Clan Birdskull together many years ago. Belim started life as a warrior, but being one of the oldest dragons in the clan, he has largely retired from combat. However, if the clan should fall under attack, he will stop at nothing to defend the clan he has watched over for so many years--he still has some strength left in his old bones! He also still helps Ribeye train young dragons in the basics of melee fighting. He is very patient and kind to the youngsters and is an excellent teacher.

Belim turned to tinkering with machinery of all sorts in his old age, and has become an incredibly skilled mechanic. If anything mechanical goes wrong in Clan Birdskull, Belim is the dragon to bring it to. He has used his skills to engineer his Mesa Mechanojets to aid his mobility, as his legs aren't working quite as well as they did when he was younger.
