Aneurysm

"SURPRISE!!!!"

Don't have a heart attack, this creature is one of the hospital greeters, handing out little paper baggies with gifts for visitors to give to their loved ones or to take home for themselves if they prefer, mostly the usual little bottles of anti-anti-bacterial cream for plague dragons, and a nice little potpourri sachet for everybody else.

Some say Aneurysm isn't his name, it's the condition that brought him to the hospital. Others, more spitefully, say its what he causes in others. But if you can get past his appearance, you'll find this permanent resident, whether patient or potential lawsuit, is all heart. Or a heart attack.



Another thing from my real life. My Grandmother suffered two strokes and survived, my Nonno (Grandfather) had two heart attacks (fortunately he lived to see 99 years old), but my mother died of a heart attack in 2010. Heart attacks and strokes are often connected, both being caused by blood blockages, the former in the heart, the later in the brain.
