B I O G R A P H Y

Gemini! The one and only, yours truly, Gemini Man. Or dragon, in this case. Perhaps the flashiest and meanest of all members of this lair, he is definitely not somebody that is easy to befriend. Though- why would you befriend him at all? True to his name, he’s able to create holographic copies of himself to confuse and overwhelm his opponents, or just to get a chuckle out of annoying someone. The coatl specializes in magic, harboring quite a few supportive and offensive skills that, should he put it to its full potential, can be quite tricky to deal with.

Being a quite powerful and elegant fighter, Gemini is confident in his abilities, and does act very conceited about ninety five percent of the time. He has some severe ego issues, and also happens to be a narcissist. He enjoys admiring himself either with a mirror or via one of his copies- though, it’s a bit unnoticeable under all the layers of clothing and jewels he wears, there are two peculiar ‘lines’ running down the side of his face, starting from his eyes. His fashion senses tend to revolve around ‘if said item is sparkly, glittery, or pretty in my standards, I will get my hands on it and I will wear it.’ Being the flashiest out of all coatls, you will always find him slathered in the fanciest of all apparel the lair has to offer, and furnishes his personal cave with sparkling treasure, gemstones, shiny trinkets, and anything that could be deemed as ‘sparkly’ or ‘busy’. He is quite fond of felines, and has seen to be envious of Fizzpop’s hoard of cats. Despite his resemblance to said reptile, he has a strange fear of snakes for unknown reasons, often calling them ‘enlarged, disgusting worms’.

Gemini has been seen with four copies, of which has been named Celestine, Vermilion, and Epsilon. It is unknown if he is able to creature more copies, though the act takes quite a toll on his energy levels. He’s usually accompanied by one clone, namely Vermilion. Despite being the second copy, Vermilion is the strongest (as well as the most irrational and impulsive) copy. His fangs and venom do most of the talking for him, but Gemini still seems to be fond of the former. First in line and first to be created (at least, that’s what everybody’s been told), Celestine holds a stoic and cold nature. A heart of pure ice buried under more ice, he’s analytical and judgemental- probably too judgemental for his own good. Epsilon, the final copy that is spoken of the least, is bubbly and curious, often invading people’s privacy just to satiate his inquiries. As nice as he seems, being a Gemini copy, he is not without flaws. Epsilon is a two-faced, manipulative, and ungrateful idiot, who will most likely throw his friend into the freezing ocean if it means getting what he wants.

____“What can I do-? Well, uhm... I can make this weird bouncy laser thing-?”

“Anything more than that? Let’s see...”

It’s been a few days since his activation, and while Gemini was- and still is, quite overwhelmed at all the information he’s been recieving, he’s been picking up a bit of interests. Stumbled upon a mirror and stared at himself for twenty minutes, listened to some music, all that sort of thing. He didn’t exactly... checked to see what else he could do.

There were people he met. Some he liked more than others, though that didn’t say much. He didn’t like the most of them. The silent one? Yet to be discovered. He looks creepy.

Gemini tapped his fingers together and closed his eyes, going through a check of his systems.

‘Self-Duplication’-?

“I think I found something... excuse me.”

____AA few more moments later until he then opened his eyes, and- who was that standing next to him?

That looks like himself. But- not himself.

“I’m good? Alright, thank you. But what about him?”

“Oh. Well, fair enough. Okay, not-me! Come along now, we can’t waste the docs’ time.”

He lead the copy into the hallway, the other still respectively silent. “You don’t like to talk, do you? Nah, it’s whatever. Hi! I’m Gemini! DLWN.019, nice to meet you!”

“So... do you, uhm.. have a name or something?”

“No? Hmm, let’s see... I obviously can’t call you Gemini, you’re nothing like me...”

“...you have pretty eyes...”

“Ooh! I got it! What about Malachite? Since nobody has ever been named after a gemstone... you could be the first~” he chirped, giggling as he watched the other’s unchanging expression.

“Wow, you’re really social. Oh well, that’ll change later. Okay, come on! I gotta introduce you to everyone! Let’s go, Malachite <3”

____“Mm, so... Malachite. Do you think I can make another one of these copies?”

“Should I make one? I mean, that’s kinda why they built me anyway. But I’m just asking if it’s a good idea or not.”

It would be a bit more time until Gemini proposed that idea to who we now call Pyrope, as he sat on a swivel chair and fumbled with an ornate hand mirror, watching the gemstones twinkle in the lights. He set it aside, smiling to himself about all the possibilities his ability could bring. He’ll be a real game changer! Everyone will know about him! And everyone will learn about how wonderful Malachite is, and- what if people wrote books about them?!

Such wondrous fantasies.

He looked over at the other, a sparkle in his green eyes as he clasped his hands together. “It really /is/ up to me, but I just wanna make sure you’re good with it. I don’t know if that’s a yes or a no though.”

“...oh-? Well, no going back now! Ready or not, we’re gonna have a new friend in riiiiiight.....”

“Now~”

Though- Gem was a bit surprised to see the second copy step out of Malachite’s hologram.

____“Woaah... interesting... I gotta record this! Now, where’s the internal notepad-?”

Gemini scanned the second copy, quite glad that he seemed to express more emotion upon creation than Malachie did. Easier to work with. “Hello, hello! DLWN.019 reporting! I’m also called Gemini. I’m your- uhm... creator??? I think?”

‘Gem...ini...... information saved. And you are-?’

‘Malachite. Malachite... found one matching result. Copper carbonic hydroxide. Cu2CO3(OH)2. Folder created. Information saved. Hello, Malachite.’

This sent Gem into a small giggle fit, as he sighed with satisfaction. Already! He has two copies! And they’re all going to be great friends, from what it looks like.

‘Who... am I?’

“You-? Oh, I didn’t-“

“Name him after- OH! Malachite, you are a /life saver/. You! New copy! Your name is Celestine! And you two will be the best of friends because I said so. Man, this is so exciting~ I can’t wait to make this world a utopia for everyone, especially us! We’ll be known across the world as the start of a new society, one better than ever! I think I rambled enough. Okay, I gotta go for a bit. Be nice to eachothed! See you~”

And with that, he skipped out of the room, leaving the two copies to themselves.

‘...he’s a weird one...’

‘This is so strange. Why did he make me? What is he talking about? That’s a pretty mirror.’

‘...excuse my manners, I am just recieving too much information at once. Greetings. I am Celestine, though you definitely already know that. It is a pleasure to have the opportunity of working with you, Malachite.’

He took the other’s hand and shook it, a smile forming on his face- though it wasn’t much too noticeable. He probably has never liked to smile all that much.

‘I believe we will form a great team.’
