hot summer air, musk, rocks warmed by the evening sun, shepherd songs, dusty wind, the sound of heavy rain, fresh milk, early mornings, sunrises over vast plains, coffee, the smell of burning conifer branches

born in the highlands of cairnstone rest under cold october stars as a result of an unlikely union between a solitary shepherd and a pirate, kiila had to learn to fend for herself fairly quickly. however, if it weren't for her nomadic childhood in the unforgiving deserts, she wouldn't be as relentless, tough, and collected as she is today.

while her brothers went far to seek their fortune, kiila stayed with her mother in the highlands for a long time, herding sheep, studying harpies and centaurs and singing songs and stories. when she finally decided it was time to leave the nest, she did so with a mind full of stories and wisdom and a heart full of curiosity and wonder for the world.
