Kokoa

Before getting together with Steela, Kokoa was just a wandering dragon interested in preserving wildlife and the environment around him. Kokoa could best be described as the "chill parent", he is very laid back and finds humor and joy in the little things. He is also a bit of a sap, still madly in love with Steela, he brings her seashells, kelp and flowers all the time. Kokoa has a small side business of giving "fatherly advice" in their lair along side with his wife's oracle business.

When he was younger, Kokoa was a tundra wandering around the waters near the border to the Southern Icefields when he came across a shivering and extremely sick fae. Taking her back to the Water flight's territory, Kokoa began to help her recover. He didn't know anything about this healing mumbo jumbo that the fae tried to instruct to him to heal her. The road to recovery was rocky at first but Kokoa stayed by her side until she was fully healthy again, helping her in his own ways. Kokoa kept her company, made sure she had everything she needed and made her feel comfortable.

During Steela's time recovering with Kokoa, he became infatuated with her and her determination to finish her studies even though she had just recovered from a great illness. He was over the moon when Steela proposed that they'd establish a clan together. Together they chose the cold, dark and deep waters near the border of Tangled Wood. Kokoa liked the place especially since the wildlife was so diverse and interesting there, he was over joyed that they could preserve it as they settled there. Kokoa's hopes for their clan aligned with Steela's, even though in different ways. While she hoped that they could cure and help everyone that came by, Kokoa hoped that even if they weren't able to cure everyone they'd be able to make their life much more comfortable and easier.

A few years after they has established Eventide together Kokoa had started to feel strange about their relationship. He felt really big and clumsy around Steela, being a much larger tundra around her small fae form. He felt that his form made their relationship and joint living harder than it had to be. Kokoa started to ponder over the possibility of changing his form through magical means. He got in contact with Eclipse their clan's resident dragon who had specialised in changing dragon forms. One exchance of goods and coin later, he was turned into a fae, a much more comfortable form for him. Coming home after this life altering endeavor, he surprised Steela with a dinner and a showcase of his new form. Kokoa had feared that Steela would be weirded out but to his surprise she was overjoyed that he could now be comfortable in his body.

Kokoa, like his partner, still has his parental instincts intact even though all of their children are now long gone and serving the deities. He often swings by the hatchery to tell and read stories to the new hatchlings and deliver home made remedies and essentials the hatchery might need.
