One of the two dragons that run Sōlis' magic shop, Selma is a fortune teller, divining her patrons' predicaments, their futures, and advising one how to face their problems as well as selling charms to help them on their endeavors. She works at the shop with Shui Xian.

Selma is completely blind, scrying fortunes using magic gems that project to her mind directly. her divination cards have tactile ridges upon them, as well as braille- even her cane has a crystal ball on its end, capable of warning her of dangers when alone. Despite all of this, Selma can prevent herself from wearing herself out, using her magic in moderation.

Her fortune telling is mostly done at her home, and not at the magic shop. Patrons can come by at any time to request her help, even in the dead of night; she doesn't mind losing some sleep if it means guiding those who are lost. (They'll just have to be patient as she allows herself to fully awaken.)

She's quite unusual, often speaking in metaphors, and sounding rather foreboding at times. Despite this, Selma is very caring, doting on her clanmates frequently. She doesn't wish to look into anyone's future without permission, so she can be rather pushy with her fortune telling. This is only a sign that she truly cares, however.

Often she'll travel outside of the clan, but with Shui Xian at her side. Selma is skilled with directions, and can navigate very well, but feels safer with her trusted companion at her side. They've been friends since they were fledglings, and both of them have total faith in each others' abilities.
