H I S T O R Y
Persephone comes from a Clan where it's sometimes required to put other dragons out of their misery, due to their cruel, meditated actions. However, it's not necessary anymore. The dragons around her are kind and thoughtful, but still she has the tickling at the back of her mouth that causes her jaw to unhinge and black sludge to drip, drop- but no, she must stop herself. There are no souls left to devour. So, she steeled her mind and latched on a muzzle, proceeding to learn sign language in order to communicate. This made her very hard to understand. But then, she was recruited for a very special program. And they taught her to fight. And they tore off her muzzle, and they unleashed her upon the monsters that ravaged the families of her sworn friends.

My chains were shattered bones on the turf around my ankles. My body felt powerful; my muscles bunched like coiled snakes beneath my stretched black skin. My paws glitter with Stygian power, passion burning from my clawtips to where it reaches my face, draining it of whatever soft blues were left and pouring ink throughout my complexion. My maw snaps opens wide, and the engulfing abyss within waits to guzzle down the life energy of the butchers who dismembered mere hatchlings. I snarl, becoming a husk used by my strongest desires, and feel the pull. I dash forwards, to the front lines. Through the clustered, pressing bodies that block my way, they always block my way. They finally part, I see rows upon rows. My eyes glow. Vile. Foul. Horrible, immoral-

U N L E A S H E D
A scream rips off my throat, and despite those who turn to hold me back, I leap into the writhing mass. Pain immediately bursts out all over my body. Someone's biting me there, someone's stabbing me there; this will not be the end of me. I will unleash myself. There's a high-pitched hum, and my vision begins to go red. The hum turns into a looping, screeching whir until it becomes unbearable and they get off me; they hit the ground, covering their ears with their hands and trembling in agony. A pulse of electric blue radiates. I see their figures warping, blurring, bleeding out the lines. The dirt resists, leaving skid marks; the length of their skid marks determining the seconds until their slaughter. The sound cut out as if it was unplugged, and I was left in pulsing silence. My ears ring. My belly is full, and their souls are warm.
