She was born into a poor merchant family who traveled the eleven reigns in hopes to one day have enough money to give Achlys the life she deserved. One day, while they were travelling through The Tangled Wood, the skydancer overheard her parents discussing their financial situation and their plan to give their daughter to the King of Paalvul here in the Shadowbinder's territory. Slipping into the shadows, Achlys managed to escape, promising herself that one day she'd find her parents again and have enough money to give them the life they wanted for her. For three long years, she traveled across the lands, stopping only in small kingdoms to do some 'work'.
