Candal

His wit is as agile as his body, which means he is good as sparring with words. He especially likes big words. He owns about 6 different dictionaries and actually enjoys reading them. Because he is so good at words, he was asked so often to represent the clan in local meetings that it just became his job in the lair. The clan throws him at people in the hopes that he will either scare them away with his smarty-pants personality, or confuse them enough to make them leave. He became the main ambassador after several disasters following Argon being in the position. However, Stella reserves the right to go in his stead if she deems the meeting potential vital.

In addition to reading dictionaries for pleasure, Candal occupies himself with the study of magic; attempting (and repeatedly failing) to bake; writing his own memoirs; arranging, rearranging, cataloging, cross-cataloging, counter-cataloging, and dusting his vast collection of fossils and figurines; trying to teach his familiar tricks; and dabbles a little with the tabletop game called "Towers & Tellurians," which he always refers to as T&T and once he gets started on talking about their current campaign, no one can stop him.

On principal, Candal does not get along with Yttri. Their individual lairs are close to each other, which means the two have many encounters. Yttri's fire-lighting habits stress Candal out because he owns many flammable and valuable items.

Having grown up in an ice flight, Candal is more reserved with his emotions. However, compared to other frost dragons, he is rather more expressive when he gets on the topic of something he is passionate about. Or when arguing with Yttri.

Candal makes it his duty to help teach his familiar how to focus all of his many eyes. So far, he's taught the webwing to sit, stay, and play dead, but he's not quite sure if the familiar is actually obeying him, or just coincidentally wants to do those things after Candal repeats himself 20 or 30 times.
