Afterglow dragons were born when lightning struck the earth and set it ablaze. The flames were blue like ice and glowed the hottest white in their center. From the ashes of Lightning and Fire rose a new subspecies that started calling themselves the Afterglow. Some of these dragons aligned with the Lightning Flight, while some were at home in the Fire Flight. Their breath is always either bright blue fire or lightning. Being the result of two elements, they know fairly well what it's like to have your loyalty divided and not fully belong. They've grown to be very accepting of other dragons that are different in any way.
