"You Lightning dragons and your technology and gears and machinations. What a poor appreciation for the finer arts. Allow me to demonstrate."
Cleo is the last type of dragon who would make herself at home in SpineLabs. Her aptitude for magic and alchemy stand at odds with the technical, scientific environment of the workshop, but an absurd salary and the opportunity to work with the brightest dragons in the region changed her mind quickly. Her mastery over "entirely worthless skills", as Spinel would call them, lends her extensive knowledge in material science and engineering. With nothing but her bubbling cauldron and stained claws, Cleo has quickly made herself an unusual but skilled asset for the company.

Her work focuses primarily on development and application of unusual materials through her alchemy. Due to her size and the sometimes explosive nature of her research, her laboratory is far from the prying eyes of any colleague or supervisor - even Spinel trusts Cleo to produce results just by her lonesome.

But despite being prideful and dedicated to her craft, Cleo remains a polar opposite of the tundra dragon in all other respects: quiet, self-conscious, and reserved, the ridgeback prefers more company than just her Psywurm, but her career and inability to connect with others leave her lacking anything more than colleagues.
