Reed
The Sorcerer

Born on the border between Wind and Water, his birth was seen as an ill omen by the fledgling clan into which he was born. A howling storm, fiercer than anything the little clan had seen, ripped apart the clan as he broke from his egg in his fleeing mother's arms. He was one of only two hatchlings to have survived the storm, the other being a tiny skydancer. In the calm the followed storm, as the clan huddled around the two young dragons as they blinked open their eyes for the first time, gazing around at the horrified faces that stared back at them.

"Their eyes!" One gasped, pointing a shaky claw towards the two, who had eyes of both wind and water.

"They cannot stay!" Another shouted.

"They'll destroy our clan!" The accusations kept coming, an endless stream that confused the two hatchlings.

Barely able to walk, the two were forced to run for their lives as they were chased from the only home they'd known in their short lives. They ran for days, long after the clan had given up on the chase, until they arrived at a small Water clan on the shorelines below the towering cliffs. Exhausted, they flopped down onto the sand, unconscious.

When Reed woke he was in a spacious tent, tucked into a small cot. The scent of herbs hung heavy in the air. The tent was large, he could tell from the way the roof swept high above him, but the area he was in was screened off. He assumed that there were many of these screened off areas as he saw one just across from his, with the skydancer from before tucked into a similar cot, her chest rising and falling rhythmically with sleep.

The two were raised by the clan that had found them, learning their way of magic and fortune telling, and so much more. Their odd elemental heritage meant that they could control both wind and water. Alone they could conjure up small rain clouds, but together... Together they could create violent storms, strong enough to sink ships and drown even the strongest fliers after knocking them out of the sky.
They did not like to do this though, and agreed to only use that magic if absolutely necessary.

Eventually they left the clan by the seaside, roaming further until they came upon Isle Tallulah, where they opened up a small shop selling magical charms and trinkets.
