Aleksandr was born on a rather cosmically unlucky day, of course through no fault of his own. As a child, those nearby suffered strange ill effects. These effects ranged from illness to bad luck to unexplained deaths. Terrified of his terrible and unexplainable power, Aleksandr fled home at last, after several failed attempts. One day, he heard a rumor of a coven deep within the Light's territory, a coven that dealt in the study of strange magicks, and he began his journey.

Now, as an initiate of Anwich Den, he has come to realize that he is one of the so-called "Shade-touched" who roam the land. Essentially, Aleksandr acts as a sort of magnet for curses and negative energy, affecting those around him. However, with some practice he was able to find a method of cursing an object, rather than a living being. Now, he is a travelling merchant who deals in cursed wares and holy items. Aleksandr curates a personal collection of these objects at home, though it is unclear how large this collection is, given the security protocols he employs.
