Kosan is a self styled “Traveling Acquisitioner,” according to her that job means ‘to acquire goods any way possible.’ Oftentimes she wears colorful or shiny accessories to hide her plain appearance in order to woo the customers out of their treasure. In addition to her tasteful apparel, she also has enough charm and wit to make a Pearlcatcher jealous- which is no easy feat. She was first introduced to the Farwinds Clan by Gaelan who had been betting the passerbers that he could beat them in a game of dice. Kosan walked up and then bet to him that she could win any game that he cared to choose. Of course Gaelan accepted, he thought he had the upper hand with his gift of prescience aiding him; but no, Kosan won every game he chose. It was love at first cheat, both of them were so evenly matched that by the end Gaelan had tied himself into several knots and was on the verge of become a ball of knotted Spiral. Kosan on the other hand was cool as a winter breeze with a smile of a fox. After a tight match of cards, Gaelan finally admitted defeated and asked her to travel with his clan so he could learn her secrets. She accepted with a graceful nod and has stayed ever since. She and Gaelan have now teamed up to fleece unsuspecting dragons, and have several wriggling children of their own.
