Biography

Baku

Baku is the capital and largest city of Azerbaijan. Baku is located 92 ft below sea level, which makes it the lowest lying national capital in the world and also the largest city in the world located below sea level. It is located on the southern shore of the Absheron Peninsula, alongside the Bay of Baku. At the beginning of 2009, Baku's urban population was estimated at just over two million people. Officially, about 25 percent of all inhabitants of the country live in Baku's metropolitan area.
Baku was born in the city of her namesake, from the dreams of a small child. At first she was nothing more than a wisp of purple smoke, a stray dream caught in reality. But as she discovered more dreams from the residents of the city, she began to grow. She sprouted wings and took to the sky as she began to take the form of a dragon. As she flew, she sprinkled purple dust over the city, lulling its residents into a deep, peaceful slumber. She is the protector of dreams, and defends innocence from the corruption of nightmares. She's peaceful and kind. Her presence is signaled by increased drowsiness and the presence of a soft, lullaby-like tune.

 		Whereas Ombre signifies logic and thinking, Baku signifies dreams and imagination. While Ombre encourages logical planning and scientific answers, she encourages people to dream and create worlds with their minds. Baku and Ombre are polar opposites, but they will remain together for eternity.
