Lore: In the beginning all The Lightweaver’s children were more than willing to come to aid and serve as her Exalted. Time passed and her children developed and evolved. Many shying away from the brilliance of Exaltation. As The Lightweaver asked for her children to serve she heard cries and prayers from those left behind. Observing this rift she knew she needed to remedy this hurt. While she could not return her dearly Exalted to their physical forms she sought to comfort the sorrowful kin who lost their loved ones. Due to her Flight’s enormity she employed help. Seeking deeply compassionate, patient, and trustworthy dragons she blessed them with soft yellow hues. Teaching them of the blissfulness of Exaltation and the deep meaning it had for her and her children. With The Lightweaver’s blessing they set out. Gifted the detailed knowledge of what lay before those Exalted, they set out to heal, comfort, and help those considering Exaltation as well as those who would be left behind. These dragons would perform services, parties, banquets, construct morals, poems, or songs for those to remember the Exalted. These dragons call themselves Empyreals. Habits/Personality: Empyreals are considered to be the model for compassion. Social, bright, and trusting. Empyreals are exceptional listeners. No matter how small the endeavour, they never fail to lend an ear. They spend the majority of their time with those preparing for Exaltation and educating those around the soon-to-be Exalted. Once the Exalted has completed their task the Empyreal then focuses all their energy in the friends and family of the Exalted. These dragons rarely sleep for extended periods of time. Preferring to take power naps every few hours. The sparse times they are ever seen alone is simply due to reflection. Keeping a clan emotional healthy leading up to, during, and after and Exalt is tiring. Empyreals avoid no topic to the grieving. Imparting any knowledge they can to those who wish for comfort. Breeding happens occasionally with the hatchlings being taught by both parents, however never staying with their blood relatives for long. The need for their skill is great and always in season. Diet/Hunting: Fish and meat are the Empryeal’s main choices of cuisine. Due to their high level of activity they require a large amount of protein to sustain energy. Combat: Highly protective. While Empyreals tend toward the side of pacifism they are no stranger to scraps. There are those that would oppose their work and often physically confront them on it. The Empyreal’s fighting style is primarily defensive used only to subdue than to harm. |
