.....With the birth of the universe came the birth of the first beings—among them was Exodia. There is no word for what he is; the true nature and purpose of his existence unknown to all but him. He watches over the multiverse from the empty space between dimensions as if he were waiting for something.

.....His existence was discovered when a seer met him in the dream plane and attempted to commune with him. In the dream he took on a form that could almost be called draconic, yet there was something off about it; alien. He did not speak, but his floating, gilded eye sigil gazed at the seer and bathed her in a blinding light. When she awoke she found she now knew things she should not: knowledge of powerful, never before seen magics and an insight that allowed her to see the truths of the universe as Exodia did. She shared her vision and new knowledge with the pharaoh, who became so obsessed with Exodia that he shunned all other gods and dedicated his life to venerating him. The pharaoh knew that even the knowledge of Exodia’s existence was dangerous, so in secret he established a cabal made up of his most trusted high priests and seers. This cabal would go on to become known as the Order of Exodia and establish their own secluded desert community centered around a temple to Exodia himself.

.....One of the visions Exodia imparted upon the seer was of the end of days, brought about by a world-eating serpent that sought to devour all light. The serpent, a Great Old One known as Apophos, coveted the light and was the natural enemy of Exodia, the creator of light. The Order seeks to protect the realms from Apophos using the knowledge and power gifted to them by Exodia, as well as keep that knowledge out of the hands of those who would use it for evil.

AFFILIATION — Worshiped by the Order of Exodia, but has no personal association with them other than the initial contact with the seer.


ABILITIES
..» The gilded eye sigil atop his horns acts as a third eye that allows him to glimpse into any dimension or plane of existence at any point in time. The eye also produces a radiant light that will impart knowledge to those he deems worthy, and destroy those who are not.

..» Bending light to take on any appearance he chooses, as well as bend light and space in order to move between dimensions.

TRIVIA
..» No one knows what his true form looks like, as he has never shown it to any other being. It can be assumed that whatever it is would be incomprehensible to mortals.
