Samedi

Samedi is the ruler of this dragon clan, no mistake about it. A massive battle-scarred Guardian with faintly oily-looking black hide and huge bright-red wings, he poses an impressive figure. Add on the habit he's taken of marking his scales with white ash-paste, giving his face a skull-like appearance, and the painted-on bone patterns on his claws and feet and tail, and he's clearly made it his mission to come off as a master of his plaguelands territory. Adorned in the bones and dressings of his opponents, there's no question this dragon is more than capable of defending his home.

Samedi is a strange creature, too. alternating between capricious and genteel to a tank of muscle and disease-ridden fury, he can be hard to pin down. While he's not necessarily a mean creature, he is blunt, and won't pull his punches in conversation. Why should he? As a survivor of the Plaguelands, he knows the value of being able to take a hit and keep on rolling. Let a weakness fester and it will overcome you. So he puts things straight up front, and if you can't handle it. too damn bad. He's got a habit of giving his words a rather sarcastic bite, just how he talks. He's massively protective of his clan, and especially his rather addled little tundra mate. Mess with her, and you'll see why Samedi has earned himself a reputation for ruthlessness.

However, he's a kind enough creature, and he understands the differences between flight values and views. While attacking dragons will be summarily executed as is their due, passerby and travelers will be left relatively unharmed. One of his closest friends, is, actually, a rather odd little Arcane creature. Still, there's no question that the Plague has done a little something to the massive guardian, and his few rather odd quirks are just strange enough to earn him a look or two among otherwise polite company.
