Arthur recieved a great amount of backlash when he took the throne over from his brother. Many were concerned that Arthur's small size made him, and by proxy the clan, an easy target. Although Arthur had the support of both Merlin and General Cicero, he still required more support, otherwise his sister Morgana would effectively be able to have him removed.

Arthur looked for ties in the Tangled Wood, anything to help strengthen his support. With Merlin's help he found Castor of the White Ghost clan, located in the Foxfire Brambles. Between Arthur's bluff of muscle and Merlin's conniving, Castor eventually offered his daughter, Guinevere, as a show of support for Arthur.

Guinevere was more than just unhappy with the arrangement. She constantly mocks Arthur for being smaller than she is. Having a strong Queen helped Arthur gain political footing over his sister.

Arthur and Guinevere only had one clutch of three eggs. He had two sons and one daughter.

Other than political connections, Arthur seemed to not care much for his mate, however his attitude changed drastically when he discovered Guinevere's affair with Lancelot. Lancelot had always been loyal to Arthur, one of his few supporters, and so he had thought nothing about the two spending more time together.

Eventually, through many plots, Arthur's jealousy and anger towards Guinevere and Lancelot is what leads to the Great War and the fall of King Arthur.
