Biography

Vadim had never really seen…the need in socialising. The clan had given her a place to sleep and good pay for her work and that had been all she had desired. She would fly out early in the morning so she wouldn’t run into somebody else (most dragon were either asleep, had their head stuck in a book or stood guard, all very silent actions which Vadim was very thankful for) and cover whatever patch of land their castle was flying over, looking in every nook and cranny to find something to salvage and scavenge.

If she could prevent it, the only social interactions she had to face was when she had to report to Paragon, who kept an eye on all the goods the scavengers brought home. But recently, much to her dismay, there was another dragon with Paragon, giving the Imperial a hand with the organization of their booty. A tiny (in comparison) Tundra with blue fur and clad in dark mages clothing. Whenever she entered the vault the Tundra would pretend to be busy, organizing and counting and sending objects from here to there with his magic - but Vadim could feel his eyes on her whenever she was in his near vicinity.
The ridgeback was used to fearful or even icy stares but she couldn’t quite make out whatever compelled the Tundra to be so interested in her - Vadim could handle dislike and disinterest…but the opposite made her nervous.

So after her next trip down to the surface of the Crystalspine Reaches and up again she could barely make out the feathers his beardskull headdress dissapearing behind a mountain of books and scrolls, Vadim had enough. She stalked past an unconcerned Paragon and climbed behind the mountain of literatur. The Tundra gave a tiny shriek, but didn’t seem scared rather he seemed…nervously delighted.

“Is there something wrong with my face?” growled Vadim, not the best question considering that most of her face was obscured by Sanddune Rags and a Seaside Kelpie Mane.

The Tundra gulped and fidgeted in place until a nother growl of Vadims finally made him open his mouth.

“You’re amazing!!” he yelped, “You’re fast and strong and by far the most efficient scavenger we have an oh you’ve taken on a YETI and you always bring in the most amazing relics and objects and you’re so cool and pretty and have I mentioned amazing?” The words cascaded out of his mouth like a waterfall until he forcefully clampered his mouth shut by putting both his paws over his mouth. “I consistently forget everything…” he added at last, “but I can always remember your face.”

Vadim was…dumbstruck…and if her face wasn’t so obscured one might have seen a tiny blush on the ridgebacks face. She sighted, sinking down in front of the Tundra und putting her head into her palms.

“Damn, you’re cute.”
