 B I O G R A P H Y
For a short while, Vervada stayed with the a clan in Fire Flight, learning what she could from them, becoming as fierce a warrior in body as she was in mind, under the excellent fighters known as Althaia and Azshara. ...Until the day came that she felt like it was time to move on; she bade her goodbyes, and so, left Fire behind her as well. Her journey led her to the Sea of a Thousand Currents, where she found the clan of Lamaris. Deciding that a smaller clan would be a nice change of pace--Lamaris was a Lesser Lair, while the one she resided at during her time in Fire Flight was an Ancient--Vervada decided to ask the clan's leaders for permission to stay for a while.

Myrra, the Matriarch, allowed it on one condition: if Vervada were to decide to stay with them permanently, she would have to change her name. Affronted though she was, the Imperial agreed, though deep down, she had changed her mind and decided instead, to only stay a few days after being asked such a ridiculous thing. Or so was her plan until a fellow Imperial, that of Urian, joined the clan. Urian, looking for a permanent home, had found it in Lamaris. Missing her kind (strange though it was, as Imperials were not often known to "miss" being around other Imperials), Vervada immediately bonded to Urian. With someone she felt she could truly trust, it gave her an added reason to stay, silly rules and traditions though this fledgling clan may have.

Soon enough, the Imperial found herself growing close to other members of Lamaris—even Myrra, despite the two originally not seeing eye to eye--and the clan started to feel like home, and, any notions she had of leaving were replaced. She would stay...but she would keep her name. Sad though she was at leaving her nomadic days of adventure behind her, Vervada was excited to continue her studies (of both body and mind) somewhere more permanent than the last... and to defend her newfound home as fiercely as she could. She made up the beginnings of what was to be Lamaris’ guard, and any who wished to learn how to defend their clan, must first train under Vervada's watchful eye, learning the ways she herself had been taught during her time in the Ashfall Waste. Myrra may have been the Matriarch, but it was Vervada, scholar turned warrior, who had the final say in who joined the Clan Guard. |
