ABOUT

Deep in the wilds, close to the running brooks, streams, and rivers that swarm with fireflies, a species of dragons dwell. There, in the damp shadows, the Forest and River Dragons (FaR) learn how to channel the special powers of the water within. Running water is healing, rejuvenating, and cleansing. Since these dragons are born into it, they’re among the luckiest of all kinds.

They are known to store river water in their bellies, beginning with the water from the river they were born in. As they grow older, they may store more and more of it, from different locales. No one knows if it’s the water or the special dragon, but the water within them has magical healing and luck properties.

Having one of these dragons in your clan is said to foretell prosperity — for as long as the rivers course through the Viridian Labyrinth.

DEEP FOREST

Born in the deepest, most shadowy parts of the forest, these quiet meditative dragons are natural-born loners and wanderers. However, many clans prize them for their clairvoyant abilities. They are known as far-seers, and it is possible to scry the future in their bellies.

Attracting one of these solitary dragons isn’t easy, though — it requires many months of luck and offerings of water from deep, standing puddles.
