In the end, the dark with always overtake the light

Heartless, unempathetic, and cold. You could have described her with any or all of them. But what could be expected of one who bears the name of the flower of heartlessness and vanity?

A child of the Sunbeam Ruins. She danced in the light's warm rays from birth, she never knew the cold of darkness until she was to forever live in it. Born to a noble family of Imperials she knew only of pleasure. Beautiful, powerful, and wealthy- what was not be desired in her? She knew that very well, she knew there was hardly a male dragon in all the Ruins that had never desired her as their mate. Knowing there were countless dragons head-over-heels for her made her oddly, happy. In her life of dull pleasure, she found enjoyment only in toying with hearts. She continued in her games, and she could have continued until the day she died. That was until he came along. He was a rather handsome Imperial, in a playful boyish way. The moment he laid eyes on her he was lovestruck. He followed her everywhere. He was like her ever loyal familiar; she didn't mind. After all, she could order him around as much as she wanted and he would always obey. But if only she would have known all the pain he would inflict upon her. Constant exposure to her beauty and the almost masochistic happiness he received from her orders turned his love into borderline madness. So when she finally got tired of him and sent him off it would be of no surprise he snapped. His desire for her was so strong he couldn't bear the thought of being without her, or of any other dragon being with her.

So the young dragon devised a plan, a plan to ruin the very existence of the thing he loved so dearly. It is to be remembered that they lived in the Sunbeam Ruins, in the Light Flight. And what Flight is the sworn enemy of Light? The Shadow Flight. He decided that if he could convince all of Light that she had relations with Shadow then she would be a complete outcast, and because she didn't actually associate with Shadow they would believe her to be a loyal Light dragon. So he set his plan in action, stalking her every action and watching her every conversation. He found his opportunity when he caught her conversing with a Shadow Coatl. He used her merely minutes long interactions with him to frame her of treachery again her own Flight. He used everything he had against her- relations, looks, speech, and fame. It wasn't long till he had a small army trying to chase the beautiful Imperial out her own home.

They succeeded, in every sense of the word. She found herself bruised and battered in the Tangled Woods. So she wandered, lost, avoiding and dragon she passed by to avoid being attacked in her already weakened state. Eventually, whether by chance or by the will of the Shadowbinder, she found refuge in the Foxfire Brambles. She happened upon this lair and was welcomed with opens. Her wounds were tended by the very Coatl that had made all the pain inflicted towards her possible. Now matured and at home, she has no desire to be a part of Light ever again.
