He is the swamp and the swamp is him.

It is debatable wether Tau should be seen as a member of the clan. As a hatchling, he was meant to go to the Windsinger, but that plan was soon discarded.
He seems to thrive in the swamp nearby, he only comes to visit to show his family some flowers or dead animals he finds. He even provides Valentina with ingredients (sometimes unintentionally). Other times he brings pieces of wet, moldy clothing or equimpent and most dragons are happy to stay uninformed about where (or who) it came from. Then there are times he gives the members of the clan the impression that he thinks he's some sort of swamp royalty...
