Brista

Born in the Ashfall Waste to parents of Ice and Plague, Brista spent her formative years traveling Sornieth with little to no affinity for any particular flight. When at last she did come to settle, it was to find that friends she had met in her travels -- Cray and Quara, now with the addition of Alastar -- were just beginning to carve out an existence in the Southern Icefield for themselves. Brista joined them even as Sangar and Astara shaped the first caverns that would become the home of all who came to rest in Stillsandur.

As their clan grew, Brista's longstanding friendship with the clan's leaders and the twin guardians who stood watch over the land earned her a position of inherent respect among younger clan members and travelers alike. As a result, when the need arose for a clan mediator to settle minor disputes and grievances, Brista was the most obvious candidate. She graciously accepted this uncontested position, and though any of the clan's three leaders would (in theory) have the power to veto her judgement at any time for any reason, none has ever done so. So far as the dragons of Stillsandur are concerned, Brista's word is as good as law and hers is a job upheld with the utmost integrity.
