Erka has always been on the slower side when it comes to dragon intellect. She has a hard time with connecting the dots, figuring things out, and solving any kinds of puzzles. Most complicated things just flies right over her head. And she’s aware of it. She’s not afraid to refer to herself as “slow” or “stupid”, and takes no offense when others do either, since according to her, it’s the truth. Intellect is something she admires, but doesn’t strive for, rather she has put her energy into traits which she values much more: Honesty, Loyalty, and Kindness. Even though she’s not the most lively emoter, she mostly just gruffs and grumbles, she still puts great pride in being somebody you can rely on, and being useful to the clan. She uses her tough skin and brute strength to dig through the ice and stone of the mountains, and brings back minerals for the clan to be sold or used, a job which she’s very content with.

Due to being calm in nature she gets along fairly well with the rest of the clan, especially the hatchlings, due to being one of the larger dragons who doesn’t mind if you climb and cling all over her, sometimes she will even amuse them by letting them tag along on her back as she walks through the lair. The one dragon she constantly finds herself in conflict with, however, is one of the lair’s merchants, Kinanu, who is pretty well known to lure customers into unfair deals, something Erka is heavily opposed to, and she refuses to hand the fruit of her labor over to such a dodgy salesdragon. Capable of being as stubborn as a mule and immovable as a cliff, she won that battle, and the selling of Erka’s wares is now in the hands of someone she notes as trustworthy and honest.
