(Story WIP because I'm finally trying to write this old character's stuff down. e_e )

Ka'Il is a retired knight who served his land for over a lifetime. As an undead knight, he felt no fear of mortal weapons and had quite an easy time climbing up the ladder to become a noble knight. While being a rookie knight was fine, being sent to a battle without anyone caring what becomes of him, as he got higher, people actually started to care. It's as if the other knights looked up to him. He had suddenly become an icon, something the kingdom could not afford to lose without the morale of the other knights going down. He enjoyed it for quite a while! But it eventually grew boring. Other knigths came and went. Some died, some retired while Ka'Il remained in his place. Eventually he felt he needed to rest.

Still, this now-retired nobleman has a secret. Being a knight grew boring when he always had someone backing him up. Being a retired knight with all this wealth was boring. He wanted to find true thrills! Something that would re-ignite the emotion he once felt in his now-dead heart. Be it fear or joy, he wanted to feel something again.
His greatest joy is in the gasp of terror he hears when pressing a blade slowly into the chest of a young woman, in slipping poison in the wine of his enemies, in taking whatever he wants without never having to pay the price. Oh, getting away with a crime, the greatest thrill he can find.
He only cares for himself... and his adopted son, Kai, whom he taught to be just as horrible ae himself.

He knew that young boy had potential... To think that even blind he was able to sneak up on this seasoned thief and assassin, leaping onto his back without being detected before he had gleefully announced his victory. The child was naive and uneducated... but it was like his entire body was built to form the perfect stalker of the night. All he needed... was a teacher.
