Empty Inkwell 		The smell of wet ink, drying on the script he holds with delicate claws, dissipates into the air of Sornieth.

Dramatic and mysterious, Marlowe is a poetic dragon with a penchant for plays. Seemingly detached yet also passionate beneath the surface, he is a contradictory dragon who often refrains from getting involved. Sometimes, he even finds the struggles of others "amusing", and likes to pick at the motives behind conflict from the sidelines. However, he is very invested in the world of theatre, and will readily share his thoughts on the subject if asked. A masterful actor who is happy to instruct others in the thespian ways, Marlowe views acting as both a lifestyle and an art.

In his youth, Marlowe wandered through many places, experiencing battle and other hardships but also gaining wisdom and friendships that he treasures to this day. He values these travels greatly, and says that these experiences have taught him much about the hearts of others and the world.

Currently, Marlowe works with the other dramatically inclined dragons of the clan to produce and perform plays for both clanmates and customers, though he often disagrees with Guildenstern on the meanings and endings of the scripts. Though he is proficient with a sword, he no longer seems to carry one around exceot on guard duty, instead always having parchment, a quill, and a bottle of ink at hand. He occasionally helps with fishing duties, despite his breed not actually consuming seafood, and seems to have a taste for butterflies.

No one has yet managed to catch him awake without his mask and hooded cloak, though not for lack of trying. Even in slumber, he keeps his face hidden and his body covered. Some speculate this is to add to the "air of mystery" shrouding him, while others wonder if he has some embarrassing feature he wishes to hide.
