Biography
Lore: Firelights are blessed by both Lightweaver and Flamecaller to uphold the friendship between the two flights. The two came together during a battle when all seemed to be lost. They allied themselves together and through their friendship would win the day. It was out of this setting the first Firelights were born.
During the great battle of Light Vs Plague, Lightbringer called out for allies and Flamecaller answered her cries. Together they would choose those dragons that symbolized the everlasting bond between Light and Fire and imbue them with blessings of both. This newfound strength and hope would rally the two allies on the battlefield and bring them closer together.
Habits/Personality: Firelights have a great sense of duty to protect and care for. They often will go into guardsman positions and caregiving positions. They are kindhearted dragons that forge strong friendships with other dragons easily.
While they are often kind, they are not to be trifled with. They will stop at nothing to protect those they love and can be fierce as fire itself when raging. They are often passionate about life and activities. Constantly on the move, they rarely break to take care of themselves.
Diet/Hunting: Firelights diets range depending on breed and individual. They enjoy hunting together and will often make a social event of it. Their hunt days are open to everyone, not just their bsub-species and will often have prizes based on what is caught.
Combat: They are fierce fighters that always rally to those in need. They are agile, fast and use speed to their advantage. They are not often solo fighters on the battlefield, but rather like to fight as a unit with other Firelights. Much like a blaze devours everything in its path, a group of Firelights on the battlefield will often wipe out an enemy.
Relationships: Firelights forge especially strong relationships and are quick to make friends, fall in love, and consider other dragons family. They are passionate and social and enjoy gatherings. You could say they are the ultimate in extrovert dragon. They will often put others before themselves and would gladly die to protect those they love.
A Note On Color: The highest among their ranks and the ones that represent the sub-species best are those that have the yellow tone body and orange tone stripes. These are followed by those that have orange tone bodies and yellow stripes. The other variations of the breeds come after that. While the dragons themselves do not care what they look like, keepers of the dragons have noted that these dragons will often have the strongest qualities in the breed.
