Glauca, Venomous Vixen
Glauca is in charge of guarding the coasts of Pelagica's territory, and there is no other water dragon more suited for the job. Glauca has a short fuse and tips seeping with venom. She will often perk up at the slightest indication of ill intent towards her clan. Anyone who would dare get close to her is met with a less than warm welcome. A dragon seeking to pilfer treasure from the clan's hoard is sent home with nothing but puncture wounds and temporary paralysis. Although she can be prickly, Glauca has a sweet spot for hatchlings, and can often be found sneaking off to the nursery to play with the babies. Although, when she is spotted, she is promptly escorted out. Venom and newborns aren't a great combination. Perhaps her fascination with young dragons comes from the fact that she has never laid a clutch of her own.
Fun fact: Glauca does not produce venom, rather she must feed on jellyfish to incorporate their nematocysts into her own body.
