Jocteus

Joectus visited our lair mostly by chance, he was studying the crimson bloodvine flowers and their pollen and turns out that they just happen to grow plentifully in this part of light territory. His research has been very fruitful and he has written several books on the flora and its medicinal properties. Everything from a poultice that makes scales and fur shine to cures and possible cures for many ailments. The queen became fascinated with his research and he is one of the few dragons in the lair who she visits for casual conversation as she almost never leaves the Monolith.

He has a glass-panelled greenhouse where he studies and experiments with samples of the Crimson bloodvine as well as many other types plant that he believes might have medicinal applications. He lives in a somewhat cluttered room in the Inn.
On saturdays and during festivals he, Viridi, and Baldur have dinner and drinks together in the tavern part of the Inn. He has a semi-casual relationship with Cariad, but neither of them will confirm or deny it. Joectus also enjoys visiting Marin in the Library during nights when Llewellyn is out on watch, as the two don't get along but he enjoys the library and chats with Marin.

Prior to coming to Capriscen Joectus was more more surly and was very antisocial, but he has built strong bonds in his new home. Though he insists on keeping his room in the Inn and energetically claims he's just passing through during his studies, he has been saying this for several years and as yet has no plans to leave.
