You enter the library, which must be the largest building in the clans territory. Wandering further inside, you almost walk into a coral-coloured imperial, who gives you a look so icy you start to worry you'll insides will freeze. "What is the matter?" he asks, his voice just as cold as his stare, and you decide to ask for his occupation. "I am the statistician. Valentino the Second," he starts and looks around, looking for more ink. "Not the librarian. If you excuse me." With that, he's off and you inhale in relief.

If one thought imperials were reserved and ice dragons cold, Valentino is the prime example of both of these traits, channeling this into archiving the clans hoard, meticulously writing down numbers and names in endless scrolls. He marks down births, deaths, exalts and family trees. He resides in a mostly intact building as far from the Hewn City as possible while still staying near the clan, and finds it most frustrating when Rakkarech tries to rope him in on some Emperor dragon studies. No thank you, he would rather be 1-headed and normal. He talks in a refined manner and always calls himself specifically Valentino The Second instead of just Valentino. Someone once tried to take up calling him Tino, but that died quick when the imperial offered them a stare so icy you could just feel the blizzard.

He has had some hatchlings of his own, perhaps just to parse together a larger family tree for himself. In any case, he sent the hatchlings off on their ways and spends his days alone, often accompanied by Yuhito, whom he can appreciate for his orderly treasure-keeping ways.
