Granite

Some of the hidden underwater caverns that Granite explores are pitch black sadly not even the full intensity of his glowing spots and opals are strong enough to light the darkest of caverns. Having discovered an abandoned Delvers Lamp, Granite immediately plucked it from the sea bed and wrapped it's thick leathery straps around himself, locking them in place.

With his trusty Cyan Delvers Lamp he is able to explore even the darkest of caves a little more easily than before. Which is a relief as he spends most of his time in these hidden caverns that only he can find the entrances to. Or as he tells it, it is because he can sense the caverns despite them being deep underwater.

His clan believe that his wing patterns are a mutated gene that appeared in him due to his living in the great caverns at such a deep depth beneath the ocean. The caverns he lives in are unreachable to his clan but that's mostly due to them not knowing how or where to find the hidden entrances.
