Starborne
Mother of the Lost Stars
"Those who find themselves lost may seek refuge under my wings." Tenderhearted | Silent but Watchful | Faithful Born to the Oceans, the Coatl Dragon Starborne never truly felt at ease in her environment. Though her breed hail from the fiery lands belonging to the Flamecaller, she was born in the realm of the Tidelord. She always felt lost an alone in the world that surrounded her, until one fateful day. While sitting on the coast during a quiet flee from the Ancient Lair near the Tidal Keep she was born in, the Coatl looked over the vast expanse of the water that surrounded her. There, she could see thousands of little stars reflecting over the water. Her heart leaped at the sight of it and she finally felt as if she understood something in all of the nothing that she seemed to be surrounded with. It was then that she decided that she would leave the Tidal Keep, and search for the place that the stars lead her to. It took what felt like forever for her to find the Starwood Strand, and that is where she first saw Zee. Alone, and seemingly sad sitting among the trees. Starborne approached him, looking into his eyes and seeing beauty. Her whistles and chirps began, hoping to communicate with somebody who would understand her. He grew excited, and the two shared a conversation. It lasted a little while, but soon after, Zee introduced Starborne to Sunset's lair. It was still small, but it was here that Starborne finally came to be named as such, and she began her life anew with her new family. Though it took a while for Zee and Starborne to finally become mates, due to two past relationships not going very well for the unusual-eyed shadow Coatl. Though once the two finally did become a pair, all seemed right in the world. Starborne took to raising and being a surrogate mother for those in the cave who had no parents. Myst, one of Zee's sons, took right up with his new step-mother. This brought joy to Starborne's heart, and filled the Coatl with joy for the chance of having a new life under the Arcanist.  |
