-a sensitive and emotional dragon. he was raised mostly by his father and the cluster of other skydancers in teh clan since his mother left to serve the Icewarden before he'd grown up, so he's learned how to read eotions fairly well. (note: he is about as chatty as your average mirror, so don''t expect him to use his skills to communicate with others. while it's fairly obvious that he doesn't quite contain the savage streak many mirrors contain, most dragons don't see the 'sensitive and emotional' parts of him and thus he gets hurt quite easily by other's blunt comments. he doesn't confide in his emotions to many others than his dad, Sven, and a few of his friends among the Skydancers.)
-sometimes foudn hanging around the hatchery, Jade is v good with the hatchlings due to his seemingly endless tolerance for their shenanegans. they're often shocked wiht other mirrors hwen they meet them, since they expect more dragons similar to jade in personality. the hatchies are the ones who gave Jade his flower crown and tied the ribbon on his tail, and he wears both pieces of apparel wiht pride (he's v flattered by this and tries to hide how happy it makes him for the hatchlings to like him so much)
-is @ thje butt end of the 'mirrors are savage' stereotype and really really wants it to go away forever bt he's kinda shy and doesn't want to confront those to say it about that garbage
-he's become the unofficial hatchling doctor, he can tell in advance which ones are about to get sick and how to treat the ailments they get. he knows what he's doing, but most dragons don't even register him as a viable doctor because he's a mirror
